We have a rich history in printing measuring tapes and labels dating back to 1881 when Chicago Tape and Label was created. Chicago Tape and Label (CTL) was a printing company with the focus of the business printing Tyvek® measuring tapes for hats, shirts, and animal weigh tapes. It just so happens, that they produced a handful of mattress labels as well. The Coburn Company, Inc. bought CTL and moved the business to Whitewater, WI in 1981. In January of 2016, we changed our name to Coburn Pressworks.
Today, The Coburn Company, Inc. and Coburn Pressworks are owned by the Coburn family. We hold a high standard for ourselves in both companies and understand that personalized customer service is paramount. We value the one-to-one relationships we have formed over the years.
